Fallen angels, an extinct race of giants, ETs--what were the Nephilim of the Bible, and what happened to them. OR, are they still around? The books of Genesis and Enoch tell us that beings called the Watchers descended to Earth, had sex with women and created a race of hybrid offspring called the Nephilim.

But what happened to them? Did they die out, were they killed off...or do they STILL EXIST? Scott Alan Roberts makes a compelling and unique case that informs us about what really happened, who the Nephilim might actually be, and whether or not they still exist--and also, what kind of influence they may have in the world today.

Host: John B. Wells
Guests: Chuck Bergman

Filling in for George Noory, John B. Wells was joined for the entire program by retired police officer and psychic medium Chuck Bergman, who discussed how his psychic abilities have enabled him to solve crimes and help people. Bergman recalled his first brush with spirit communications at age six, when as he tried unsuccessfully to pin a homemade police badge on himself a voice in his head proclaimed, "Chuck, one day you'll wear a real badge." He said that particular voice has spoken to him only four to five times, usually at a period when he needed a certain piece of information, such as notifying him that he would be known as the 'Psychic Cop.' Those in spirit continually reach out but most people excuse the communication as merely inner thoughts or dreams, Bergman explained. Unlike the average person, police officers tend to develop a sense through trial and error that pays attention to these feelings and voices, he noted.

Bergman spoke about his own experience at a psychic reading, where the medium stunned him when she made contact with his mother and told him how she liked hearing her British accent — a fact the medium could not have known, he insisted. Bergman recounted the time he was in new police station, and saw large hoop earrings appear on an officer with whom he was conversing. He said the man had recently lost his mother and kicked his son out of the house for getting a tattoo and his ears pierced. This apparently was the mother's way of communicating disapproval for her son's actions, he suggested. Bergman shared another of his readings, this one given to a female officer who wanted to know if she and her husband would ever have children. The woman's father appeared holding two baby boys in his arms, he revealed, adding that nine months later both she and her sister had baby boys.

Bergman explained how his psychic abilities have aided him in crime solving. According to Bergman, he could walk past a room of suspects and instantly pick up on the one who would ultimately be charged with a crime. He reported on a high profile missing persons case in California that he helped solve over the phone. Bergman remembered receiving numerous validating signs from the missing boy — a sure sign he had died, he noted. Bergman said he was shown a green pickup truck with a trip mileage gauge reading 159 miles as well as given the direction 020 degrees. Police followed that exact bearing from the parents house and found the truck and the son's body approximately 159 miles away, he disclosed. Bergman also recommended listeners pay closer attention to their own dreams and how they talk to themselves during the day as the "subconscious [does] consciously speak to us."

Host: George Noory
Guests: Frank Joseph Hoff, Jon Gabriel, Robin Harger, Raj Pillai, Saunthara Subramaniam

Researcher of ancient mysteries, Frank Joseph Hoff, discussed the unusual work of Brazilian Prof. Arysio Santos on the true location of Atlantis. The late Prof. Santos had a Ph.D. in Nuclear Physics but was also a specialist in a variety of disciplines including climatology, chemistry, geology, and archeology. Through such sources as ancient Hindu texts, and the writings of Plato and his contemporaries, he was able to "reverse engineer" the location of Atlantis-- a submerged subcontinent in Southeast Asia, where the Indian Ocean, South China Sea, and the Pacific Ocean all come together, Hoff recounted, adding that Indonesia is part of this land mass that is visible today (the location is pictured on Santos' book cover).

According to Santos, Atlantis had advanced machinery and weapons. They had air-based vimanas or vehicles so large that they could transport thousands of people, homes, and environments from one side of the world to another, as well as nuclear weapons and warheads that hastened their demise. The continent of Atlantis was hit by a massive tsunami that was over a mile high after a Krakatoa volcanic explosion, and millions died, Hoff continued in his detailing of Santos' accounts, adding that subsequently the continent was engulfed by rising sea levels between 11,000 to 12,000 years ago. Santos also believed that around 75,000 years ago, Atlantis' predecessor, Lemuria, was destroyed by the Toba volcano, and the survivors spent the next 60,000 years rebuilding and migrating to other lands such as the Indus Valley, and South America.

Appearing for a segment in the second hour, Dr. Robin Harger, talked about his collaborations with Prof. Santos, and how he was able to confirm Santos' findings by locating craters on Google Earth in the Sunda Strait that were large enough to have played a role in the demise of Atlantis. He also matched a string of a thousand islands with rocky features in the South China Sea to the Atlantean location (see related graphics). Appearing briefly at the start of the third hour, communication consultants Ray Pillai & Saunthara Subramaniam phoned in from Indonesia, to discuss their work in studying a Dravidian language that is a close derivative of the language the Atlanteans allegedly spoke called Dravida. Hoff has an expedition team in place to conduct further studies in and near Indonesia-- artifacts found in the waters have been dated to over 13,000 years ago, he noted.

Shape Up America-- Week 1

First hour guest, mind-body weight loss expert, Jon Gabriel, kicked off George Noory's Shape-Up America campaign with concrete techniques to get our bodies to want to be thinner without having to use will power. Gabriel was able to lose 220 pounds without using specific diets. He discovered that the body has a "fat switch" that is activated by stress and emotional issues. By dealing with those issues through the techniques of meditation and visualization, as well as adding more nutritious foods to his diet, he was able to drop the excess weight, and keep it off.

Host: George Noory
Guests: Joe Nickell, Patrick Wilcken

Paranormal investigator and columnist for Skeptical Inquirer magazine, Joe Nickell, discussed his latest work on ghosts and so-called spirits of the dead. He argued that most paranormal cases are promoted with an "argument from ignorance" i.e. "we don't know what the noise in the old house was, therefore it's a ghost." Nickell was critical of modern ghost investigators who use an array of testing equipment at locations said to be haunted. It's highly unlikely that their readings are detecting ghostly activity, but rather they may be picking up microwave power in the area, or the electromagnetic signatures of their own devices, he suggested.

According to Nickell, we most look toward Occam's Razor for the simplest explanation in cases of anomalous phenomena. For instance, with EVP (electronic voice phenomena), we are not hearing the voices of ghosts, but rather something caused by acoustic variables, he said. Nickell recounted his investigation at Mackenzie House in Toronto where phantom ghost steps and other phenomena had been reported. He discovered that there was a staircase that ran parallel in the next door building, which he believes accounted for the sound of the phantom steps.

Regarding sightings and communications from the deceased, Nickell cited sleep paralysis-type episodes, in which a person is in a state between waking & sleeping as the most likely cause of such visitations (he also associated sleep paralysis with alien abduction cases). He charged that mediums and psychics who claim to communicate with the dead are using cold reading techniques for their material. Additionally, Nickell spoke about his study of Spontaneous Human Combustion cases, and found that they have a "real world" explanation. For example, in the case of Mary Reeser, she was smoking cigarettes and taking Seconal, and when the fire started, her body acted like a wick, he said.

Levi-Strauss & Anthropology

First hour guest, author Patrick Wilcken talked about Claude Levi-Strauss, and how he revolutionized the field of anthropology by showing that primitive peoples were actually quite sophisticated. "In the 19th century there was this idea that indigenous cultures were a throwback to another era," Wilcken said, but in the 20th century, Levi-Strauss was one of the early synthesizers of various anthropological accounts that showed a huge range of cultural phenomena among these groups. Levi-Strauss also studied indigenous mythologies from across the Americas, and found similar structural properties in them, Wilcken added.

Coast to Coast AM - 07-03-12 - Apocalyptic Thinking & Collapse of the Dollar

Host: George Noory
Guests: Chris Duane, Mathew Gross

In the first half of the show, media strategist Mathew Gross talked about the rise of apocalyptic thinking in America, and how it has become part of mainstream cultural dialogue both on the left and the right. While many Christians believe in the events foretold in the book of Revelation, a lot of secular Americans have also become attached to Doomsday ideations, such as associated with global warming/climate change, peak oil, and the disintegration of civilization, he noted. Out of this, the "prepper" movement-- those practicing survivalism and preparendess, has taken off.

There are some positive aspects to the American apocalyptic narrative. It instills the need to change "or else something terrible is going to happen," said Gross, who noted that areas such as climate, banking and energy are in a precarious state, and the potential for catastrophe is high. On the negative side, apocalyptic ideas are often dismissed out-of-hand as unlikely, but conversely many who believe in coming disasters become paralyzed, and unable to take action, he reported. Fear is often used to manipulate the public, especially in the post 9-11 world, and Gross suggested that people look at such fears with rationality, and examine the evidence for how likely any given scenario actually is, and make decisions based on that.

-------------------------------

In the latter half, founder of the Sons of Liberty Academy, Chris Duane, warned of the coming collapse of the US dollar due to the massive amount of increasing debt. He foresees the falling of weaker currencies first, leading to a domino effect that will see the eventual collapse of the dollar, which he characterized as "the single largest event in human history," as the world's economies are tied to the dollar. All the central banks are privately owned by families such as the Rothschilds and the Rockefellers, and as a result they own the world, and are responsible for the debt paradigm, he asserted.

Interestingly, Duane contended that a real economic recovery can't begin until after the collapse. To steer clear, he suggested that people walk away from toxic investments, careers, and relationships, and move their assets out of paper and into tangibles such as silver. He believes silver will have use in bartering after the dollar falls, and people can start collecting it simply by visiting their local coin store. Coast to Coast AM - 07-02-12 - Mars, Energy, & Mind Uploads

Host: George Noory
Guests: Charles Shults III, Howard Bloom

Aerospace and defense systems developer Sir Charles Shults discussed his work with alternative energy sources, the discovery of new extrasolar planets, the new rover which will land soon on Mars, and the concept of mind uploading into virtual worlds which could lead to a form of immortality. The Curiosity rover is scheduled to arrive on Mars on August 5th-- it's a larger vehicle than the previous rovers, and has advanced testing and photographic equipment. It's due to land in Gale Crater-- an area where water would have been present over a great period of time, and Shults believes there is a high probability that fossils of primitive life may be found there. (Check out our Insta-Poll on whether you believe there's current or past life on Mars.)

There may be some simple ways to develop interstellar travel, Shults declared. One possibility is a reactionless thruster, which could be thought of as a quantum mechanics device "that could produce thrust in one direction without throwing exhaust out the other side," he explained. Regarding energy, he'd like to see the end of burning petroleum for fuel, and one development he expressed enthusiasm for is a new type of fuel cell that can also act as a kind of battery.

By 2025, Shults foresees the ability for people to upload the contents of their brain, or back-up their memories to a computer. This capability could prove highly useful if someone suffered a brain injury, he noted. There are some amazing extrapolations from this type of technology-- "Imagine being scanned into the computer, having a model of your mind, and then setting the clock speed of the computer a million times faster. Now in the space of about 30 seconds, you could experience a year's time," he marveled. Further, he continued, you could plug into the computer to study a problem or go on a vacation in a virtual space that would seem like a week's worth of time, but when you unplugged, only a few seconds would have passed.

Road Rage Analysis

First hour guest, author Howard Bloom reacted to a recent case of road rage, and talked about the evolutionary roots behind such incidents. In the animal kingdom there is a pecking order or dominance hierarchy within small groups, but when a new animal comes into an established pack, chaos ensues and there is a new battle for dominance-- this is akin to episodes of road rage where angered drivers fight for control and dominance by shooting or attacking, he suggested. Further, people who drive larger vehicles such as SUVs are trying to appear dominant, he opined.

Coast to Coast AM - 06-30-12 - Metaphysics & Visions

Host: John B. Wells
Guests: Stuart Wilde, Don Schmitt

Joining John B. Wells, esteemed metaphysician Stuart Wilde revealed some of the dramatic things he has uncovered through his research and visions. Wilde commented on rumors of a UFO invasion during the summer Olympics. Though this may be an unlikely event, he did note his recent vision of a UFO (shaped like the Daleks from Doctor Who ) moving into position near Tower Bridge. Wilde busted the 'solid' UFO myth, explaining that UFOs are actually complex demonic beings that can morph into the shapes we recognize as UFOs. In any patch of sky, there are at least 200 of these beings overhead and trillions in total around the Earth, he revealed. According to Wilde, these UFOs are linked to Reptilians, who also can appear as humans. He claimed to have seen a woman shape shift into a Reptilian being over the course of 20 minutes, then turn to him and smile.

Wilde spoke about other dimensions, some hellish and some heavenly, that are very near to us and contain millions of different beings. Every person has a mirror world self, or double, in another dimension. Everything one thinks and feels is transferred to this mirror world self. Wilde shared some of his darker visions, including one that showed Princess Diana died from a lethal injection, not a car accident. Her car was not even damaged and had to be mangled to make look like it had been in a crash, he said. Wilde supported claims of conspiracy surrounding the 9-11 tragedy, and suggested the planes that hit the towers may have been holograms. The buildings were brought down with thermite explosions, he added. Wilde also provided a brief history of the Bilderbergers, foretold of a coming global economic collapse, and announced that the world will not be ending in 2012, as he has seen visions beyond that date.

Update from Roswell UFO Festival

In the first hour, ufologist Don Schmitt, reporting from the Roswell UFO Festival in New Mexico, talked about the famous UFO case. Schmitt said the Festival commemorates those who were brave enough to step forward and say something extraordinary happened there—something much more than a weather balloon. The Roswell case demonstrates that we are not alone and have been visited by an intelligence beyond our planet, he noted. Schmitt suggested that the U.S. Air Force knows the truth about the Roswell incident and has been sitting on it as the eyewitnesses die off. The military must maintain their cover-up or they would have to admit to perpetrating a mass deception, acknowledge that other craft fly through our airspace with impunity, and confess to threatening citizens who talked with death, he added.

Schmitt also shared the account of a man whose father worked the freight yard at the Roswell Army Air Field. According to this man, his dad found a piece of material from the crash site, took it home, and gave it to him as a birthday present. The handkerchief-size piece of foil-like material could purportedly smooth itself out after being crumpled, and the man said he even used it in a magic act. Other witness accounts are consistent and confirm the existence and nature of this seemingly non-terrestrial material, Schmitt reported. "How can they all possibly be lying?" he asked rhetorically.

Coast to Coast AM - 07-01-12 - Conscious Evolution & Grieving and Loss

http://www.mediafire.com/?6mb0b7h84eb9vea  <--

Host: George Noory
Guests: Barbara Marx Hubbard, Ken Druck

In the first half, visionary author Barbara Marx Hubbard discussed the coming planetary renaissance that she's heralded for decades-- a conscious evolution in which we become "co-creators" of our destiny. This type of evolution is done by choice, not by chance, she explained. Humanity is now at a critical tipping point between extinction and evolution, but being in this environmental crisis mode can serve as a motivator for change and transformation, she said. Advocating for the concept of "social synergy," she suggested that a sharing of common goals and resources through converging positive innovations is a more viable strategy than competition.

The path toward making the evolutionary leap involves people shifting from ego to spiritual awareness, resonating with the heart, and finding one's life purpose, vocational or otherwise, she detailed. Hubbard has partnered with Stephen Dinan of the Shift Network (who appeared briefly in the first hour) to co-produce a Planetary Birthday on December 22nd, 2012, inviting all to awaken to a new consciousness of peace, sustainability, and creativity.

------------------------------------------

In the latter half, Dr. Ken Druck, a pioneer in personal transformation, discussed the secrets of how we survive life's worst losses and uncover their dark gifts-- hidden opportunities for spiritual deepening, renewal, and discovery. Druck, himself, suffered a great personal tragedy when his 21-year old daughter was killed in an accident in India. To honor his daughter's life, he founded the Jenna Druck Center to help other families deal with grief. We don't live in a "grief literate" culture-- often people don't understand what someone may be going through who has suffered a loss, and grievers can have difficulties processing their feelings or seeking help, he explained.

The idea of "closure" is really a myth when it comes to a major loss, he said, -- feelings can cycle back or be triggered by random incidents. Druck also spoke about the notion of a "living loss" such as an addiction, illness, accident, or divorce that typically involve some grieving and coping. Strategies such as denial, avoidance, and isolation don't really work when it comes to grief-- sometimes we just need to bear the pain of the moment knowing that we'll get through it eventually, and can then create a Plan B that can be rewarding and fulfilling, he outlined.
